Half full glass
Image from facebook
As Eeyore says (to Winnie-the-Pooh), “Well, at least you have a glass..”
We all have a glass in life and it all depends on how we look at it.
The IT support person might ask you if you’ve tried emptying the glass and then refilling it, but I prefer the following:
“Listen to the mustn’ts, child. Listen to the don’ts.
Listen to the shouldn’ts, the impossibles, the won’ts.
Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me…
Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.”
~ Shel Silverstein
Padmini lives life to the full and she is responsible for our topic today: Half full glass, why not drift on over to see what her glass contains before checking out our other active members: Delirious, Maxi, Maria/Gaelikaa, Maria SilverFox, Padmum, Paul, Ramana, Shackman speaks, The Old Fossil, Will Knott.

Only of that IT guy supports Windows!
And I bet Maxi as a 50-gallon drum instead of a glass. ME - the contents and vary daily.

Everything can happen and does happen and everything can be, if you are a Mac fiend.

All good - except get a bigger glass.

The above would not be true in a vacuum, but then the water would boil away and the glass would be totally empty. Vacuums suck!

Like the poem, GM. Neat take on the glass. Gotta say, I would rather be full of water than air, especially hot air.

WWW -
speccy - Really? Oh good!
BWT - Will do when I am not driving!
Fossie - A glass cannot be a vacuum, it is open ended - to allow for more liquid! Boom Boom!
Maxi - I like Shel Silverstein’s work. I do like my glass or beaker filled, but it seldom happens.
Everyone leaves plenty of space for milk (which I cannot tolerate), or a wine glass with 125mls, may look half empty, but in fact contains 1.5 units. In the UK, the alcohol limit for drivers is 80 milligrammes of alcohol per 100ml of blood. In most other European countries, the limit is less, usually 50mg per 100ml of blood. So if I need to drive, my glass remains EMPTY.

The glass is always half full, but it all depends on which half we want to focus on, and what it is we want.

I think when I was a child my motto was Listen to the mustn’ts, and then take no notice.
