Buffy had fun
A new toy to tug and chew at.
Dinner is in the oven so we have a few minutes to play.
I did eventually manage to get the rope ring over Buffy’s head. She had great fun trying to remove it and immediately brought it back for me to play again.
On Sunday, Phil joined us for the day and we went exploring between the rain showers.
Buffy had no problem running through puddles, poor George was left to follow.
As always, Phil makes great use of his camera.
Buffy loves being in the water, but we kept her on her lead - the river was high with snow melt and a couple of days heavy rain.
Where did that stick go?
We took the cleanest path back to the car.

WWW - Buffy is Elly & George’s dog and we have great fun when she is around, but she is not my granddog. I actually hate that term.

Like the spot where Buffy is in the water; looks like a good place to sit and talk, read for awhile or just enjoy the beauty of nature.
Blessings ~ Maxi

Brighid - A great day from a wonderful weekend.
Delores - I still expect to see Buffy peeping out at me from behind the sofa, or bring me a toy to play with.
Tilly - Buffy has a special look that melts my heart.

Maxi - The ground where Buffy is standing is covered in flood water. For a better idea of the place take a look here: http://www.grannymar.com/blog/2012/02/25/openings-27/ The last photo is from the other angle and Buffy was standing where the heron is.
Judy - We were fortunate to manage an hour between showers for our walk. Phil is a wonderful photographer and I cannot wait to see his pictures from the day.
Dianne - Sitting down with Buffy is actually easier than bending down, she moves very fast, and I don’t want any more falls.
