Good Intentions
On this the birthday of A. A. Milne who was born in 1882, it is my intention to do as Christopher Robin asked Pooh:
“Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”
“It is not good enough for things to be planned - they still have to be done; for the intention to become a reality, energy has to be launched into operation.”
~ Walt Kelly
So, I’ll just continue to do what I feel in my heart to be right.
Good Intentions our Loose Blogging Consortium topic, was chosen today by the man of great ideas, never mind intentions - The old Fossil. So why not leap on over to read his take on the topic before doing the rounds of the other active members: Delirious, Maxi, Maria/Gaelikaa, Maria SilverFox, Padmum, Paul, Ramana, Shackman speaks, The Old Fossil, Will Knott.

Love the quote by Walt Kelly. I need to remember this … energy has to be launched.

Great quote! I try to act in the moment because the longer I procrastinate, the more the desire to act leaves me.

You can have all the good intentions and all the high hopes in the world, but if you don’t plan something carefully and carry out the plan intelligently nothing much will come of it.

Following your heart may have a few bumps along the way but in the end the positive outcomes win out significantly. Good on ya GM. Nice quotes too.

“You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” … “but still not clever enough to put your pants on” !

I had good intentions of reading your blog today, but I’m still trying to get over the crushed nuts.

Maxi - Some days launching my energy is a tricky!
Delores - Just follow gut instinct, it usually works for me.
Nick - We have a perfect example of the ‘lack of planning’ on our streets right now.

shackman - Life is full of bumps whether we follow our hearts or not, being positive makes taking the bumps a little easier.
Big John - Did I forget them again today?
Nancy - Thank you.

The Milne paragraph always makes me cry
I’ve snivelled my way through so many little bedtimes. Morpugo’s War Horse was the worst

I remember not being allowed to turn over a page in The Velveteen Rabbit. I brought it out to the living room - I could not wait until the next night to find out what happened!
