No Pictures
This morning I up with the lark, as they say. Well, maybe before the lark. I was actually awake since about 2a.m. I seem to be back to the tossing and turning phase again.
Powdered and painted, not a hair out of place and bouncing out the door nearly before daylight arrived.
I had an appointment. For a photo-shoot.
A Topless Photo-shoot!
Sorry. There will be no photos to share.

When I was 30 years younger several different men offered to take a photo of me “natural.” I never let them do it but David got one of me from behind…literally…when I wasn’t looking. Beautiful. Dianne

Good luck with your photo shoot! Got one of my own coming up.

Dianne - At my age the only time I am asked to strip for a photo, is purely medical reasons.
Celia - Hopefully this time I won’t hear anything for about two weeks.

You notice only the women have commented so far. We guys are a bit out of our water.

Fossie - You may feel out of the water with this one, but all you guys need to do a regular check, just the same. Brest cancer is not a ‘female only’ condition.

I know. We just aren’t candidates for a boob sandwich.

Fossie -
As James Brown tells us - “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World”

But it ain’t nothing … without … a woman or a girl!
Now, the cape around the shoulders, help him off the stage.

Warren - I am very familiar with the journey through Prostate Cancer & Metastatic Bone Disease, unfortunately my late husband was a casualty. Today I heard of a friend who was just diagnosed, alas, at a must later stage in the journey.
We women face regular cervical screening and that is no fun either. In fact it can feel more like rape than regular sex.

Fossie - Too true.

Wow, Grannymar. I am in two minds whether to say anything regarding your reply to Warren since I know you don’t like confrontation.
But to compare insertion of an, admittedly cold, contraption for a few seconds as part of a medical can hardly be compared to sex and most certainly not rape. Will mention this to my practitioner next time I have to go. See what she’ll make of your remark.
And, without wishing to stretch the boundaries: Let’s remember that rape is not so much about sex as violence and domination.

WWW - I was until yesterday!
Ursula - I said ‘it can feel more like rape’, I didn’t say it always did. The attitude and care of the person with the ‘lethal object’ has so much to do with it. I was never a slack Alice, and with a body not quite like a textbook diagram, I know what I am talking about.

Good luck with that! On a serious note, that’s how my cancer, that turned out not to be breast cancer at all, was detected. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Ramana - At my age? I doubt it.
Alice - Yes, Alice, regular check-ups are important.
