A sign

I saw a sign today:

Happiness begins on the inside.

Today, some of my happiness comes from the outside.

  • I feel light headed.
  • My headache has gone.
  • A weight is off my shoulders.

My new haircut (paper bag gone for recycling!)

Maybe now I will find a new routine for my blogging.

Maxi - There is nothing like a haircut to perk me up. I just realised, I seldom go anywhere on the day I get it cut. For any special occasions I have it cut three weeks in advance and then look after it myself. I even did that for Elly’s wedding.

    Fossie - :D

Looks nice! I’m in the process of trying to grow mine out. When I first got here, I got a hair cut but they cut it too short. I grew it out for awhile, and then went in for another haircut. I told them I would like to grow it out, but needed a trim. They cut it just as short as the first time! So now I am going to take even longer to grow it out, and do the inbetween trimming myself.

You look great. I used to wear my hair short er, but I got tired of my husband calling me “butch”, so I have let it grow a bit. I would prefer to have it short. :-(

Well mine is now 1/2 way down my back, 2 years and 2 months since last cut.

Mine would NOT look like yours if I had it cut like that. So I am sick jealous, like.

Delores - Letting my hair grow out is not something I do by choice. My crop is quite thick and the weight pulls my face down, gives me a headache and adds years to my face.

Judy - The only teasing I got was Elly asking for a ‘pre cut’ photo to laugh at! She didn’t get it!

WWW - Daddy always said my hair was my crowning glory - I think he was talking about the auburn colour. If the fringe in the photo above was swept back, I would look very grey.

I try to have mine cut every 6-8 weeks. My hair used to reach my waist when I was single, but after marriage it got shorter and shorter mainly due to thinning of the hair.

Gigi - 5-6 weeks is normally my limit. This time for various reasons it was three months. Never again!

I used to know the feeling of such relief. Now the barber has to use a magnifying glass to search for hair to cut.

BWT - It feels good front and back…. better still, it is not like a Mohawk in the mornings!

Ramana - I’m hoping my hairdresser never has that problem with me. I feel cold enough as it is.
