The Stuart Suite entrance at the Culloden Hotel, I like this gateway, leading to an archway and beyond.
The tall bare tree on the left is actually a telecommunication pole and not a real tree.

it somehow reminds me of the scribes in trinity labouring away with their quill pens and after all the tourists were gone pulling out their laptops from beneath the tables.

What a pathetic imitation of a tree. They could have done a better job than that. Or why not just use it as flagpole, with a Culloden Hotel flag?
