Marianna, you are welcome.

Maria, One of these days, but there are other more important items on my list at the moment. I had fun with this in the last few days.

I received a kindle from one of my sons for Christmas this year and I love it. At first, I thought I would miss turning pages, but no that never happened. Like Nancy, I was unaware that my kindle would read for me. Just found that out last night and haven't had time to explore, but will soon.

Hopefully, you will have one of your own soon!

kin·dle
1    /ˈkɪndl/ Show Spelled [kin-dl] Show IPA verb, -dled, -dling.
–verb (used with object)
1.
to start (a fire); cause (a flame, blaze, etc.) to begin burning.
2.
to set fire to or ignite (fuel or any combustible matter).
3.
to excite; stir up or set going; animate; rouse; inflame: He kindled their hopes of victory.
4.
to light up, illuminate, or make bright: Happiness kindled her eyes.
–verb (used without object)
5.
to begin to burn, as combustible matter, a light, fire, or flame.
6.
to become aroused or animated.
7.
to become lighted up, bright, or glowing, as the sky at dawn or the eyes with ardor.

Now that I have given the dictionary meaning for it, fess up. What are you really up to?

BHB - The more I hear the more I like the idea of the Kindle. It sounds like it would eliminate the problem of words jumping about on the page. Now all I need to do in save my pennies and then dedicate an hour a day to using it! I might become a reader yet!

I saw no advantage to a Kindle, but Tom says he's getting one. His books are usually 2 inches thick & he reads several a week so he's welcome.

Nancy (BTW my only sister is Nancy) tells me that your book will read aloud to you. Great! Big print is very nice. Light weight & Tom says it will look up words for you. Now I might want one.
