Birds

The sun is shining, the sky is blue
and the gentle breeze is dusting off
The early morning dew.

The birds are singing
with joy for this fine day
I want to dance right out that door
and watch them as they play.

Enjoy your day!

Grannymar and Rummy, my 3 quail are just waiting to nest. They would like to do that mating dance, but the weather (they are still freezing their—- off), is still stifling their desires.

Wonderful sounds, the birds are this time of year. Even though it’s snowing all day, I remember yesterday’s chirping as little birds flitted about on the balcony a few feet away. They were looking for nesting material of course, and it reminded me that spring is trying real hard to come back.

Alice - It is wonderful to wake to bright mornings and the dawn chorus. It is a timely reminder to those with dogs or cats, to give them a good brushing and place the loose hair in clumps into the bushes where the birds can get it to line their nests.

    Grannymar,

Are you sure you have enough to do? Brushing the cat and walking through the snow to put the fur in the bushes; are you SURE you want to do that?

A better way to spend your time might be to drain your underground vinegar tank and give it a good cleaning to be ready for the next 5,000 gallon order.
