I stayed in a farm house in Ireland, for 5 weeks, that looked exactly like this.
My son’s wife was studying the Irish for a degree. When he arrived later I took up his side in arguments. Not good. I was new at mother-in-law. And they were just married.
She said he made Hitler look like a boy scout. When I suggested they be nice, he said they were just sharpening their wits.
The farm house I stayed at wasn’t this big & it was sort of dilapidated inside.
I called my son. It was called Summerhill House at Borrisleigh, Tipperary County.

Daniel - Coming from you, that is a compliment!
I did take Buffy over there on two of the day I was down in Dublin. She loved running on the grass.

BHB - There are many houses similar to this scattered around Ireland. This one is a hotel and the grounds make for a nice walk.

BHB - I did a search for it, but it does not seem to be listed anymore.

My view: The dairyman & wife have since died. The house fell down.
