That was a courtroom response as well..... There was a time when a receptionist would ask you what was wrong but that was quite some time ago.... I almost got myself banned from the local practise for being very angry at being asked....luckily my doctor (this was when I could be registered with an individual Doctor) stepped in and backed me up...as i recall that particular receptionist was move to be behind the scenes. Mind you when I was a kid every one in the village knew what everyone else was suffering from... including D & V. Interesting reactions to this story…especially the “just lying there” one…. All doctors don't solve all medical problems, (B) I don't listen when other people are discussing personal stuff. I make it a point not to. Even if I do hear, I pretend not to. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I did find the story funny, though, apart from that. I simply can’t imagine something like that happening because
