Thursday Special ~ Popcorn

A farmer decided he wanted to go to town and see a movie.
The ticket agent asked, “Sir, what’s that on your shoulder?”

The old farmer went around the corner and stuffed Chuck down his overalls. Then he returned to the booth, bought a ticket, and entered the theatre.
He sat down next to two old widows named Mildred and Marge.

The movie started and the rooster began to squirm. The old farmer unbuttoned his fly so chuck could stick his head out and watch the movie.

“Marge,” whispered Mildred.

“What?” said Marge.

“I think the guy next to me is a pervert.”

“What makes you think so?” asked Marge?

“He undid his pants and he has his thing out”, whispered Mildred.

“Well, don’t worry about it”, said Marge.. “at our age we’ve seen ‘em all”

“I thought so too”, said Mildred,

“But this one’s eatin’ my popcorn!”

But of course it had to come from Maynard! He can come up with the funniest stories or if he can’t, create funny situations or graphics. What will we do without OGO!

I guess the guy was in the movies because it is so freezing cold here.

In fact, it’s so cold that the local flasher won’t open his coat. He just comes over and describes himself to you…..

Doh!… how cruel to a poor old fowl! And I bet the popcorn was salted…only geese and Gulls can excrete excess salt from their bodies in the bird kingdom (or so thet tell me)

And not very kind to the other old birds either!

Magpie - Only you could turn the above joke into a lesson on Birds!

    Magpie,

I suppose I am older than you are but I want to ask you if you remember the story of the Torrey Canyon Birds.. I do and I was very interested in their plight. It was many years ago in England.

Yes, March 1967….. as far as I know the first oil tanker disaster….
Exon Valdez was another..I’m sure that there have been others.
It wasn’t just the birds, the coastal ecology was also affected..Just another example of the marks mankind makes on the planet.
