Even today I scramble to clean , mop, and dust when I hear company is coming. Even if it is just family I try to look capable. At least I have help on the kitchen end of it from hubby. We're only an hour outside of a city, but it can seem very much like the ends of the Earth to the unaware. Funny, no one comes to visit anymore...
