Cleaver Girl!
A girl after my own heart!
I think I would do exactly the same! With or without the leather.

Thank you to the kind person who sent it to me.
AND… thanks to Steph who pointed out my spelling mistake, but I think this lady’s action had far more effect without a blood bath! ![]()

Good thinking! I’d love to be the fly on the wall when the two love-birds headed for the same room….

Nick, did you not watch the end of the video closely?

Very good.

Thanks for this, Grannymar, I’m starting my day with a smile

The leather here is the “key”. If she was wearing anything else he would not have noticed her. Leather attracts flies! Cows have a lot of problems with flies.

Great music! ……
Nick …lust birds …not love birds!

You are right Magpie, lust is the “main chemical” of a man’s being. Could populations grow without “lust”?
Grannymar said,

@Chrisb -
@Cathy - Glad to do so!
@Mil - The young lady was not wearing her jacket until she was leaving. That guy was devouring her from the moment he set eyes on her.
@Magpie - You got it in ONE! ‘lust Birds’ they were!
@Steph - Reading a menu is one thing….!
@Maynard - What about arranged marriages?
Gail said,

Would the results been the same if it were me wearing the leather?
Grannymar said,
August 18, 2009 at 1:16 pm
@Gail - The girl was NOT wearing the leather when the key was set on the table. The guy was far too busy to notice the jacket.
Gail said,
August 18, 2009 at 1:33 pm
So, are you saying that I would have a better chance wearing nothing like my picture? I would have the hearts , of course.
Grannymar said,
August 18, 2009 at 1:36 pm
Gail, Only you can answer that. Give it a go and come back and tell us the result. Better watch that those guys Mil and Maynard are not about!

I would have given my leather jacket and boots too to be inside the lift!
Magpie11 said,

Don’t worry about the leather…the clothes all screamed quality and sophistication……. and boy those glasses…Dorothy Parker was wrong!
Men obviously do make passes at girls who wear glasses.
I bet ie was red leather!
Magpie11 said,
August 18, 2009 at 3:48 pm
maybe not…I’ve just had a nother look …it seemed to be monochrome at first!
Grannymar said,
August 18, 2009 at 4:20 pm
@Ramana - With the key?
@Magpie - I think it was the steam on your glasses!
Maynard said,
August 18, 2009 at 5:14 pm
I’m sure Rummy, that she would have been just as happy to give the key to you. Anything for the “cause”! I’m sure she was not concerned about age. JUST A SUCKER!!!
Nick said,

I did indeed see the end of the video. When I said lovebirds I meant of course aspiring lovebirds who were about to be rather shocked and horrified….
Darlene said,
August 18, 2009 at 9:37 pm
Oh that’s so funny.
I love the look on her face when she leaves. I’ll bet it was a temptation to hide in the hall after they met at the same room to watch their faces.
Grannymar said,
August 18, 2009 at 9:53 pm
@Nick - I don’t think they needed to leave the elevator for that shock. The first guy saw the key number as the door closed!
@Darlene - It was fun.
Baino said,

Oh but he was cute! I’d have taken the key! (Then it’s been a while!) hehe.

I just showed this one to my husband and he, too, laughed out loud. Thanks!
I was worried by the title. Glad it was a typo.

Hi Grannymar,
I know I am late to this party but I have to tell you how much I enjoyed it and especially the look on the second guy’s face when she threw the keys on his table. PRICELESS!!!!
Grannymar said,
August 19, 2009 at 9:28 am
@Jean - the cleaver this young lady used… was her brain!
@Nancy - I am fascinated…. not one comment from a YOUNG man! I wonder what that says?
Rumuuser said,
August 19, 2009 at 5:32 pm
What do you mean “Not one comment from a YOUNG man”? I take serious offense to it.
Grannymar said,
August 19, 2009 at 6:53 pm
Ramana,
Not one guy under 50 dared make a comment!
