Thursday Special ~ Togetherness

THEY ARE FINALLY TOGETHER

Judy got married and had 13 children.

Her first husband, Ted, died of cancer.

She married again, and she & Bob had 7 more children.

Bob was killed in a car accident, 12 years later.

Judy *again*, remarried, and this time,

She & John had 5 more children.

Judy finally died, after having 25 children.

Standing before her coffin, the preacher prayed for her.

He thanked the Lord for this very loving woman and said,

“Lord, they are finally together.”

Ethel leaned over and quietly asked her best friend, Margaret:

>

>

Do you think he means her first, second, or third husband?”

>

>

Margaret replied:….

>

>

“I think he means her *legs*, Ethel…”

This is a well travelled tale, it came the long route from Texas.

I was trying not to laugh as I answered but the guy on the other end picked up that I was laughing and joined in!!!

You made us both laugh so much and he doesn’t even know why!
    Thank you!

Where do these “very loving women” hang out?

Interesting how long it Tex a joke to travel!

A true story; a woman who lived near us had 21 children. She was widowed in her 40’s. During the ’80s most of her children emigrated to various corners of the world. When she retired, she spent her time visiting her children and grand children. On one of these trips, now in her late 70’s he met a lovely man in his 80’s. They decided to get married, she was going to stay put with him in Australia. She rang home to one of her sons to tell him the news. He replied “Ma, you know if you’re pregnant, you don’t HAVE to marry him, we’ll understand!”

lol Simply brilliant. Once upon a time in history, almost all unelightened Indian families had close to 13 to 15 kids. By that measure every obtiuary column could have had the same line!

Brilliant! My grandmother married three times. We jokingly, of course, call her the widow maker. :)

No - he didn’t ask - I think he just thought I was mad or really cheerful or maybe on something …but he didn’t ask - so I didn’t tell…. ;-)
