I baked them as directed,I thought, but something must have gone really wrong because they did not turn out as promised. Without going into too much detail it will suffice to say that I sold all the scones on Ebay last night to the Irish Curling Society . They told me they would be perfect. All they had to do was put a small handle on top of each scone and they had a regulation 40 pound curling stone..... Too much baking powder? Grannymar,
