Except of course all those poor kids who were evacuated during the war and had labels to say who they were….

@Nick - Jack often spoke of the evacuees with their luggage labels pinned to their fronts.
@WWW - I will allow you that one, I forgot about those sticky curling pieces of paper.

There were too many years of labels in the North - and too many people who tried to control the world by applying labels.

I must remember that quote. It says it all. I love it.

I’m currently experiencing life as both a prisoner and a liberator of labels, since Rory doesn’t have one, it’s very difficult to get services for him, but also without one, there are no restrictions placed on his future.
The future, whatever its label, is always the shining becon through the dark present on bad label days.

And labels on clothing, otherwise I wouldn’t know what fits because I never try anything on first.

Darlene, JD & Ian are on my wavelength this time.
Magpie & Baino, Parcels need labels to reach their destination & clothes are allowed so long as the labels are on the inside of the garments.
Annb, I hope you find a label for Rory, one that opens doors for his future
