bikehikebabe,

How wonderful to wake to only the sounds of nature each day. I remember waking to that particular silence years ago, alas no more.

Enjoy!

My house is on the edge of an empty canyon. Trees & wildlife but no pavement or people. It's rare that I see anyone. I take off my shirt so that I get my vitamin D required from the sun--1/2 hour. This is in the mountains of New Mexico, USA.

@Magpie - She was on the other side of the road.

@Baino - Alas Carrickfergus is not within walking distance but it does mean I can combine a walk , perhaps lunch and the shopping to one journey.

Nice promenade, you're lucky to have such a walk so close to home, I have to travel into the city for a decent watery walk. I tend to walk early in the morning anyway so there's very few people about other than the other dog walkers and joggers, it's strangely peaceful!

@WWW - The water is Belfast Lough that divides Co. Antrim from Co. Down. The 200 metre high chimney in the distance is at Kilroot, a dual coal/oil fire Power Station. The prom was upgraded last year and I am hoping the colourful flower beds will soon be restored.

@Darlene - We are very fortunate in Ireland, that of the 32 counties on the island only 12 are land-locked. You did well the luminous jacket is a yellowish green.

What a beautiful promenade for a morning walk. I love the sea and to live near it must be wonderful.

I enlarged it and found the woman, but was not too sure about the man. I thought the color of the luminous jacket was lime green. I need new glasses.

I found it quite an eeries shot, GM, a heavy industrial kind of pall over the beauty of the sea as offset by the concrete and steel. I like the endless promenade devoid of people but there is something rather unsettling about it.
Nicely done.

@Ramana - Perhaps word was out and they were all in hiding from me!

@Magpie - The signs for bus stops are regularly attached to the poles for street lights. Your sight is good you found the people.
