Any Ideas?

What do you think they were saying?

Elly & George, October 2005

I think it was “If we don’t turn round, will she go away”?

“Honey, you know the way I adore you, respect you, and acknowledge your superiority in almost every capacity? Yeah, well I’d just like to mention that in the peeing-standing-up department, I totally rule!”

Nick, right now I am swimming in tears of laughter caused by Rowan’s answer!

    Cue the music…
    “The long and winding road…”

    Will,

They were looking out from the end of a particular road into the North Atlantic Channel that day. A pet day with lovely memories for all of us.

In that case the song is “we’ve come to the end of the road”.

Then again, they might try paddling.

I love the view and I think they are saying, “What a gorgeous day! I wish we had brought a picnic basket.”

I always think of food. ;-)

There are so many things I could answer to this, but I don’t think they’d like it if I were to say them :P

@Brighid - I never thought of that one.

What on earth made all those Irish cross over this? Will they come back do you think?

Ramana, quite a few decided the grass was greener on home soil and returned.

And the correct answer was me saying to him - if your hair is longer than mine, then it’s off to the barber’s with you!!! :-)

Elly, what a let down! Something as mundane as that? From all that I have been hearing about you, I would have expected some thing far more profound. Incidentally, did Grannymar volunteer to take the photo to decide the issue? Devious, very devious!

  27. elly said,

@rummuser - there are plenty more photos that would have more profound comments attached!! And yes, devious GM offered to take the photo to sort it out!
