I once mentioned to Roy in front of the kids that his shoes could use a nice cleaning and shine. The next morning about 6 A.M. I heard water running in the bathroom and I went in immediately. There was Chris, about 4 years old,with the tub half full of soapy water, dropping everybody's shoes in for a nice cleaning. He had high heels, dress oxfords, baby shoes, and boots in there and was very busy "shining" them with a wash cloth.. He couldn't understand what I was upset about! He was only trying to help, wasn't he? Grannymar,
