Mommy’s Little Helper

Saturday should be a day to relax.

When Elly was small it was difficult at times to rest because she was always busy, busy, busy!  It was necessary to keep a beady eye on what she was doing.

At least we didn’t have this problem:-

    Oh my God I’ve just watched that with Rory and he laughed sooo much that I’m terrified it has given him an idea…….

    Goodness, I always give my computer a good soapy wash every week. Am I not supposed to? How else do you get rid of all the spam that’s got into it?

    Oh, no. I hope Lucas doesn’t have that idea. If he does than I hope it’s with his mother’s laptop not mine! ;)

    Grannymar,

    You just never know what a child will do. I once mentioned to Roy in front of the kids that his shoes could use a nice cleaning and shine.

    The next morning about 6 A.M. I heard water running in the bathroom and I went in immediately. There was Chris, about 4 years old,with the tub half full of soapy water, dropping everybody’s shoes in
    for a nice cleaning. He had high heels, dress oxfords, baby shoes, and boots in there and was very busy
    “shining” them with a wash cloth..

    He couldn’t understand what I was upset about! He was only trying to help, wasn’t he?

    Better the lap top than the cat in the wringer washer. Sometimes ol bead eye just has too many to watch over.

    @Steph - A good rest from the ‘net’ means they are not so beady today.

    @Annb - Mind that laptop! :lol:

    @Primal - Will I tell Elly you recommend it?

    @Nick - You need a way to remove the spam and the dirt! :roll:

    @Lorna - I have friends who give me a nudge in the right direction!

    @Robert - I think Lucas might be more interested in using the laptop than playing with it.

    @Judy - Oh Yes! :lol:

    @Nancy - One of my young nephews decided to help his mum with the cleaning chores. She found him in the bathroom singing away while brushing the toilet bowl === he was using his toothbrush :!:

    @Darlene - Very true.

    @Brighid - Poor cat!

    @Ramana - it is good.

    Mmm! An interesting idea she has!

    Who put her up to it I wonder?
