    Apart from the amazing photography, that looks like one seriously unsafe socket. Too much rust and damp for my liking.

    Finally a power point I can understand. A bit of vinegar ought to fix that rusty/mossy thing right up.

    @Nick - If you were left standing in an 800 year old building… well it might turn your pipes green! :roll:

    @Brighid - You and me both!

    @Ciara - I bet!

    It could use a bit of help from you, Grannymar. You have it cleaned up in no time!

    Does anyone else see a face with red lipstick?

    I keep expecting it to wink back at me! :mrgreen:

    @ Steph,

    So you see a face with red lipstick,do you?

    If that is what you see, I would love to have a look at the results of your Rohrshack Ink Blot Test……

    I see cricket wickets when the game is played in Ireland. What would that interpret as I wonder!

    @ Nancy

    Be afraid, be very afraid!

    It’s not wise to analyse Steph’s thoughts :lol:

    @Steph,

    As the Nuns used to say when we faced a bad situation or a crazy person, ” Pray, children, Pray without ceasing.”

    That was 70 years ago, do you think it’s OK to stop now?

    @ Nancy

    You should have tried a s’pray of vinegar! :D

    @Judy - It was one spot in a very old building awaiting renovation.

    @Steph - Hmmmm! Are you on the wine already?

    @Nancy - Mind those knees of yours! I hope you said one for me, though I might be a hopeless case.

    @Ramana - I think it means you have a good imagination!

    My first though was ‘this looks unsafe’, but what do I know!

    Steph, I saw that face with the red lips also. We’re just artistic, that’s all.

    That’s funny…I came in after wearisome day (fulfilling tho) and logged on to GM and found a face with overly red lips too! But then tiredness does funny things to my brain I thought….but it’s okay. Now I know I’m not the only one.

    Reminded me of the room in which I was putting up curtain poles tis pm …there is a power point in there that is surrounded by mould and blown plaste but nothing like this one…

    I must have no imagination since I don’t see the face.

    Nooo…..just that you view the world differently…I expect you see an electrical power point….

    Grannymar

    I’ve finally worked out who the ‘face’ reminds me of…

    It’s CHUCKIE from the Rugrats!

    @Magpie - I certainly view the world differently! :D

    @Steph - I see where you are coming from.

    @Baino - Chance pure chance!

    @Brighid - Robo chickens & rugrats….. I don’t know.

    WD40 and a slap of paint - sorted

    Welcome Steve to party.

    WD40 and a slap of paint sound like a good solution. Alas the photo was taken in a public building last September and they might not appreciate my help! ;)
