I suppose you could say I am in transit at the moment! Half way between Co Antrim & Cork.
There is also another form of transit happening. The guy with the white beard, no not that one, the Santa fellow brought me a present and left it at the wrong address. Only now do I get to open it up & play with it….
A shiney new laptop
This might be s l o w! In the meantime a little something to make you smile.
and another…

Well, February 21 is an important date for me too - my second blogiversary! Best of luck for Saturday.
Perhaps some fabric softener would improve my snarled-up brain a little….

@Steph - Now I will be able to keep tabs on all my friends!
@Nick - The brain certainly needs something to clear it today.

How I wish I had a new laptop to play with. Enjoy finding out all of the new things you can do. Well, I hope you solve the mysteries of a new gadget. I don’t have much luck with technology.

Can’t resist the temptation to return the favour with a joke that I just received from an admiring American of Irish stock.
Voted Best Joke in Ireland last year:
John O’Reilly hoisted his beer and said, “Here’s to spending the rest of me life, between the legs of me wife!”
That won him the top prize at the pub for the best toast of the night!
He went home and told his wife, Mary, “I won the prize for the Best toast of the night.”
She said, “Aye, did ye now. And what was your toast?”
John said, “Here’s to spending the rest of me life, sitting in church beside me wife.”
“Oh, that is very nice indeed, John!” Mary said.
The next day, Mary ran into one of John’s drinking buddies on the street corner.
The man chuckled leeringly and said, “John won the prize the other night at the pub with a toast about you, Mary.”
She said, “Aye, he told me, and I was a bit surprised myself. You know, he’s only been there twice in the last four years. Once he fell asleep, and the other time I had to pull him by the ears to make him come.”
