This is the same place from the inside looking out.
St. Augustine’s Church, Ballyeaston, Co Antrim was built in 1786 and was once at the heart of the local community. The church closed for worship about 100 years ago when St John the Evangelist Church was built in nearby Ballyclare. A recent local project has helped preserve St. Augustine’s heritage for future generations to enjoy.

I love ancient buildings that are being preserved. If I had the money and the energy I would be traveling once more seeking out just such relics like the St. Augustine Church.
I could write a treatise on how I enjoy viewing them, but why bore you further? You are probably already yawning your way to the next comment.

Nice to see old buildings, we don’t have any here other than the odd gaol and 200 years is a long time in our history! Plus I have a thing for doors and archways. Must get my camera cranked up! Tomorrow . . .too hot today.
