My suggestion was printed and here it is. At the beginning of October each year, remove the batteries from your smoke alarms, but don't throw them away. They may still have a lot of life in them. Put the smoke alarm batteries in the remotes for your TV sets . If the batteries fail in the TV clicker, nobody will die, but if the batteries in your smoke alarms quit, it could be fatal...
