Looks very familiar to me…but then again I’m probably wrong.

While I’m here …I’m finding this to be a bit of a cheesey Christmas.. I actually don’t have much zest for it all.

    I think I know what it is….

You use it regularly, like it to be on the heavier side of the range, often listen to the radio as you use it in the dining room and use vinegar to keep it clean. The shot shows the bottom.

    Am I right?

    @ Elly

Is it the inside of a grater?

A grater or upside-down bubble wrap.

    I know this one!

It’s a diagram of Dublin Corporation’s traffic management plan.

It’s a cylinder head gasket for a blue van.

I’m going for the wrong side of a grater too but your pic is nicely out of focus so I’m non committal . . .if Elly’s right I can’t imagine why you’d use a grater in the dining room?

It’s the bottom of a Kerry man’s bucket!

I’m going to have to go with zester. Used for getting the “zest” off of lemons, limes, oranges, and the like. :)

    I’ve shaken my head,
    Until my nerves were grating.
    Now I’ve lost my zest.
    Nutmegged.
    And cheesed off.

On the other hand, if really pressed for an answer I could get quite starchy.
