(Actually, for me slurry is a generic term for a liquidy suspension; it could be made with mud, cornstarch, or Bournvita.) I can't bear the smell of white pepper because it reminds me so strongly of pig manure. I remember putting pepper on my fried eggs at a B&B in Ireland and then being unable to eat my breakfast.
