Is This Really Me
I was on a daily visit over with Chrisb at Ms Cellania the other day, she always has something to amuse me, when I found a little something to play with.
Now I am no Imelda Marcos, but in my time I have been known to have a pair of shoes or five! You know how it is; you need black shoes for this outfit and navy ones for that, and there is no way, you can wear either with brown trousers, now can you?
Shopping for shoes is not easy. The shops have such a selection and it is so hard to decide, you want to buy half a dozen pairs… Well I do need some pleasure in my life
The question asked: What Kind of Shoe Are You?
So naturally I had to try this little game and see for myself…
You Are Clogs |
![]() You are a solid and down to earth person. You seek – and almost always achieve – a really sound balance in your life. You are stylish yet comfortable. Mellow but driven. Excited yet calm. You are the perfect mesh of contradictions. No matter what happens, you have the ability to stay well grounded in your life. People know that they can truly depend on you.You should live: In Europe You should work: At a company dedicated to helping the world |
Go on you know you want to give it a try!

Oh God, I got Loafers…..
“You are confident, powerful, and successful.
Hard working and business like, you always dress and act appropriately.
You are consistent and a bit conservative.
You aren’t really susceptible to trends, although you always dress well.
While you tend to be formal, you know how to adapt to your surroundings.
So are professional at work… but more laid back when your with your friends.
You should live: In a huge city
You should work: In a competitive field where you can rise to the top”
This is actually surprisingly accurate - and loafers are classic french you know!

Grannymar - what a nice way to start the day
I got flip flops which suits me just fine except…
I told them I choose shoes I can walk in for a long time!
I thought the choice of cities to match your personality was a bit limited - only one European option - I wanted somewhere stylish and hot!!!
FLIP FLOPS
You are laid back and very friendly.
Cheery and sunny in disposition, you usually have something to smile about.
Style is important to you, as long as you can stay casual.
It takes a lot to get you to dress up!
You are a loyal and true person, though you can be a bit of a flake.
You tend to “play hooky” and blow off responsibilities a lot more than most people.
You should live: By the beach
You should work: At a casual up and coming company

Nancy whatever about living in Europe, this bit is just right about you:
‘People know that they can truly depend on you.’

I got bare feet!
“You are a true free spirit, and you can’t be tied down.
Even wearing shoes can be a little too constraining for you at times!”
Which is ironic because I’m actually in bare feet at the moment! Well, I have a pair of socks on but that’s it.

Being of a suspicious nature I remembered the date……
But then not everyone is like me, prone to a mischeivous sense of humour…so I did it again a bit more seriously.
I got clogged!

I posted this on my own blog, GM, it is so good (with full credit to you, of course!).
I am barefoot.
Not pregnant.
Not in the kitchen.
It’s a very bang on test….

Step . . .you CAN walk in flip flops for a long time. But they must be soft rubbery Havianas! I can’t survive without my thongs! However, I scored BARE FEET! Actually true, after my operation I had six weeks off and didn’t wear shoes once! This is absolutely true!
You are a true free spirit, and you can’t be tied down.
Even wearing shoes can be a little too constraining for you at times!
You are very comfortable in your own skin.
You are one of the most real people around. You don’t have anything to hide.
Open and accepting, you are willing to discuss or entertain almost any topic.
You are a very tolerant person. You are accepting and not judgmental.
You should live: Somewhere warm
You should work: At your own business, where you can set the rules

I had no idea what I’d be and to my surprise I am clogs..and when I read what it said, I agree. Isn’t that interesting that a few questions can verify or describe who we are. Great idea, thanks for the journey.

‘m Cowboy boots! Funny how the description seems to fit! This is a great idea. I may use it sometime on Wintersong. When I do, I’ll give you credit! Thanks for lots of great ideas. (The button sewing tip, too!)

Alice I borrowed it from Chris and several blogs have used it since. These games are made round to go around. I often wonder who starts them.
