Thursday Special #4

The Ten Commandments

A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds. After explaining the Commandment to ‘honour’ thy Father and thy Mother, she asked, ‘Is there a commandment that teaches us how to treat our brothers and sisters?’

Quick as a flash one little boy (the oldest of a family) answered, ‘Thou shall not kill.’

Dunno - but the Commandments certainly don’t seem to protect the tourists!

    Grannymar,

A little boy was asked by his Sunday School teacher:”Who was the first man?”

    Boy:’ It was Hoss.”

Teacher: “No, it wasn’t Hoss, it was Adam.”

Boy:’I knew it was one of them Cartwright boys.”

    Nice one Nancy!

My maternal grandmother often said that she could trace her family back to Abraham! When my eldest brother was digging through the records he did find an Abraham. Alas he was not the Biblical one, this man was born in 1848!
