Well I’m hoping everyone’s had a bite at this cherry so here’s my paltry effort:

1. Jelly Wrestling?
2 Mount Rushmore? Eroding perhaps?
3. Chilli, Rhubarb, Taro, Yams, Sweet Potatoes (pays to live in the tropics)
4, Strawberry
5. Oh I don’t know! Dried pear, reconstituted
6. Dwive, Dwink and Dwop
7. Comma, period, colon, semi-colon (or are they innards?), question mark um . . hyphen . . umm ummm . . . apostraphe . . .see I’m not cheating, I could have Googled this.
8. Watermelon? Avocado? Starfruit? Breadfruit? Rambutan?
9. Socks and shoes and scabs if you’ve stubbed your toe and slippers and scuffs and stockings and stains and . .

OK.
I know I have 4 and 9.
I’m fairly sure I’m right on 2 and 5.
I have heard 1 before somewhere, but forget.
I could easily cheat at 6 by getting a dictionary, but am too lazy.
I got 6 in 7 but the brain is dead.

Which leaves me with 3 and 8. Haven’t a clue. Which says something about my knowledge of fruit and vegetables!
